Action is being taken by the Labour Department to amend the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance so as to meet the requirements of Inter- national Labour Convention No. 5. The draft drafting instructions of the bill are under preparation and an item has been included in their Departmental Legislative Programme.
