I enclose a copy of a self- explanatory letter to Kensington Palace. The Queen's visit represents a heaven sent opportunity to try and get some balanced and sympathetic coverage for Hong Kong. We all think that it might help if we did some spade work first and this is what the April visit is all about. If Princess Alexandra were prepared to come to our show it would certainly help, though the show would be entirely confined to a display of clothes; but her presence would of course impress the press and other guests asked and from this there might be some spin-off in other fields.
