This is not a matter of particular concern in Hong Kong at present since the number of illegals caught has fallen away dramatically. But it would be useful to hear the

Governor's latest assessment of the situation since the

matter is still of some public concern here.

I recommend that an agenda should be drawn up to include the items above. If the Minister agrees, this Department will provide briefs by Wednesday, 26 November.
