Factory and Products
This factory, established in 1969 with a capital of HK$4,000,000, occupies three floors totalling 30,000 sq. ft. in area in an 8-storey flatted factory building. The products, valued at HK$20,000,000 per annum, include fashioned knitwear of natural and man-made fibres. Natural fibres include wool, cashmere, linen and cotton. M.M.F. include polyester, acrylic (both spun and filament) and acetate. Metallic fibres in the form of silver strand
are also used.
The products are mainly (about 80%) for U.S.A.
markets.
The remainder is for markets in the U.K., European countries, Japan and Australia. Fully-fashioned knitting ranges, interlock rotary knitters, steam setting chambers and other ancillary machinery
are used in this factory.
Workforce
The workforce consists of 50 male and 150 female workers.
