Is the Minister satisfied with the British trade
with Hong Kong?
Trade between Britain and Hong Kong has continued
to be in Hong Kong's favour. Obviously, the more we
can sell to and buy from each other the better it will
be for us both, particularly in the present difficult
world trading conditions.
Britain will certainly continue its effort to
promote and increase its exports to Hong Kong.
Eighteen trade missions plan to visit Hong Kong this
year and the British Overseas Trade Board is
consulting British industry about the possibility of
an industrial exhibition in Hong Kong later this year.
