Dear Sir Alec,
I recently received information from Hong Kong concerning the death of Mr. Kwan Kong on 29th July 1973. Mr. Kong was killed whilst riding his bicycle by a fast travelling motor car. The concern is that no adequate investigation of this accident took place and all attempts in Hong Kong to ensure that justice is done and the driver of the car brought to the courts, was made impossible by the unwillingness of the police to make a thorough investigation.
The enclosed papers clearly indicate this together with statements from the police, and it seems plain that the police authorities have been quite deliberately unco-operative.
Would you be kind enough to have this matter investigated and let me know your findings, please.
Yours sincerely,
A
