Jear Davies,

MP'S CASE: DEATH OF MR KWAN KUNG

1.

Peter Lloyd wrote to me on 7 February to say that he had asked the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Commissioner of Police, respectively, to investigate the allegations of corruption and the failure to inform the family, in this case. Mr Blaker subsequently sent an interim reply to Mr Ray Carter MP, telling him this and promising to write again as soon as we had a further report.

2.

Mr Blaker is of course no longer in office, but Lord Goronwy-Roberts would like to send a substantive answer to Mr Carter. I accordingly wondered whether the various enquiries were nearing an end yet, and when we might expect a report.

Cours ever,

I'm horror.
