EXECUTIVE COUNCIL DECISION OF 5.2.74
The Council considered memorandum XCC(74)11.
The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
that the Mass Transit Railway Provisional Authority Bill 1974, as annexed to the memorandum, be introduced into the Legislative Council subject to the amendment of clause 9(b) by the inclusion of the phrase "in the opinion of the Registrar" after the word "likely".
It was noted that the membership of the Provisional Authority described in paragraph 7 of the memorandum was without prejudice to the membership of the board of the Mass Transit Corporation which would be determined by the Council at a later date.
