You will have seen the telex that sent to Tokyo on 21 February about the Hong Kong Mass Transit Scheme. Please now see attached a copy of a telegram from McGhie describing how far he was able to take it and also a further telegram from myself telling him that John Weedon will be visiting Tokyo to see whether there is anything in all this. John Weedon's visit follows a discussion that I had with Kenneth Bond of GEC on receipt of McGhie's helpful telegram.
