Defence Inspection Service, and their officials have shown themselves stricter in other respects, e.c. refusing entry to Chinese travellers without hotel hankings in their place of destination. So we shall have to wait and see. If taken to its logical conclusion it could mean that Hong Kong people of Chinese yuana hard now consciously to mph for Bellich or Chinese status, and the pressure would then be to switch to "Chinese" on their identity cares if they wished to go to China. I very much doubt whether such an informal declaration could be taken to involve accepting CP 0 citizenship, but it would obviously underline the compatriot status of the Chinese residents of Hong Kong.
