HONG KONG : PREVENTION OF BRIBERY ORDINANCE
1. So far as I can see the bill is in line with the amendments agreed with the FCO.
2.
We suggested an amendment to section 10 in the last sentence of paragraph 3 of our telegram No 1148 (Flag F) which does not appear in the Bill and may have been overlooked.
3. The Ordinance has I think already been amended in the light of the Blair-Kerr report. I imagine that the amending Ordinance is on the files dealing specifically with the Ordinance and it might be as well to deal with the new Bill on those files so as to maintain continuity.
