1. If Mr Rushford agrees, then I too agree that he should reply to the Chief Justice on the lines

I suggested in Mrs Drummond's minute of 4 June. notice that in his telegram No 67, Paragraph 12, the Governor has referred to the Chief Justice's letter, but I am not sure that this could be counted as a formal request.

2.

Ferhaps Mrs Drummond could clarify whether we shall need anyone else's agreement in order to bestow the title of "His Honour" on District Judges.
