Lord Janner was the leader of the group of
parliamentarians to whom I referred in my previous
letter. The group was passing through Saigon at the
time the case was pending. But I do not think they
would claim to be in a position to tell you why the
Hong Kong press reports on which you relied were
inaccurate nor why your other informants should have
misled you so substantially.
