LETTER FROM MRS ELSIE ELLIOTT ON GODBER
1. Mrs Elsie Elliott has forwarded a copy of her letter of 26 January (attached) to the Colonial Secretary to Mr Blaker. She has also sent a copy to Mr James Johnson
MP.

Her letter contains certain information suggesting that a Detective Sergeant Chan might be able to help in securing a corruption charge against Mr Godber.s this may well result in a letter or Parliamentary Question
from Mr James Johnson, it may be helpful to ask
Hong Kong for their comments and I attach a short draft telegram accordingly.
