Native Place: Chung Shan, Kwangtung, China.

A. GENERAL INFORMATION

܂܂

The Prisoner, TSE Yung-tim, was born in Hong Kong. He was brought up in a big family with rather meagre family incomes. He is the 7th child in a family of 9 children. His father is a watchman earning $450 p.m. while the mother is a housewife.

As he had no interest in studies he ceased schooling of his own accord at the age of 15. He came out to work as an apprentice in making shoes for a few months earning around $10 a day. During the early stage of employment it was said that he did bring money home every month. In view of the large number of children in the family, he received relatively insufficient individual attention and care from his parents but the relationship he had with other children at home was satisfactory and harmonious.

Later he proved to be rather unsteady in work before he was committed to Training Centre. He sometimes stayed outside from home and did not tell his parents where he went. He was beyond the control of his parents.

The Prisoner was sent to the Cape Collinson Training Centre on 26th, November 1971, for . Possession of Offensive Weapon, B. C. and D. Robbery. He was discharged from Cape Collinson Training Centre on 4th Jan. 1973. After coming out from Training Centre he worked with his elder brother as worker dealing with repair of air-conditioners up to the time of offence.
