On the 3rd day of May 1973 Your Petitioner was convicted

on the verdict of a jury, of the murder of Chan Kwok-

cheong (hereinafter referred to as "the Deceased"),

thereupon sentenced to suffer death in the manner

authorised by law. On the same date, Your Petitioner

was also convicted, on the verdict of the same jury, of

causing grievous bodily harm to Yeung Lin-shing.

Petitioner has not been sentenced in respect of this
