CONDEMNED PRISONER

Religion: Nil

Native Place: Shun Tak, Kwangtung, China.

Age: The prisoner claimed to be 46 years of age.

A. GENERAL INFORMATION

The prisoner was born in his native place where his father was a land owner. He was married at the age of 16 and had a son 3 years later. He came to Hong Kong by himself in 1951 after the communists took over the Mainland China.

His father was dead 5 years before his arrival in Hong Kong. His mother, his wife and his son lived in their native place. He is the eldest child in the family with a younger brother and a younger sister, both residing in the Mainland China.

In Hong Kong he has two distant uncles and some clansmen. He used to live by himself. He had worked at food stalls, fish ponds, newspapers stalls, and for the recent years at the gambling stalls and drug divans.

He used to be a drug addict for over ten years.

B. FAMILY COMPOSITION

Mother: LUNG Yee, 71, resides at the Mainland China.

Wife: LEUNG Shui-chun, 46, resides at the Mainland China.

Son LIU Wing, 27, single, resides at the Mainland

China.

Sister LIU So-mui, 43, married, resides at the Mainland

China.

Brother: LIU So-chu, 38, single, resides at the Mainland

China.

C. LIVING ENVIRONMENT

Since he came to Hong Kong, the prisoner used to rent a place and live by himself. For about six months prior to his last offence, he had rented a cockloft at No, 8 Battery Street, 2/F., Yautati, Kowloon, (near to Jordan Road), paying a monthly rental of $60. It is an ordinary domestic premises and the prisoner was the only co-tenant of the land lady's family.
