HONG KONG : A CASE TO ANSWER
Thank you for your letter of 18 October.
I am sorry that you have had to prompt me about your letter of 13 September.
2.
I have been literally swamped with work since Timothy George left on 18 July and the file is deeply embedded with the scores of others awaiting urgent attention. Fortunately, Charles Drace-Francis arrives in two days, when there will be sighs of relief all round. As soon as the two of us have reduced the backlog of normal business, I shall be getting down to the booklet. Can you be patient for about another week?
3.
Incidentally, apart from an initial press notice at the time when the booklet was first produced, there has been virtually no attention paid to its existence as far as I have been able to detect in Hong Kong.
CC
ever,
Yours
Alaw.
