This is ridiculous. Hong Kong is one of China's main markets. A large buyer can never be a parasite. Hong Long might be a problem for China when it ceases to be what it is now. It is one of the reasons why Hong Kong survives.

This is another sweeping statement which is untrue. Electronics workers are among the highest paid industrial workers in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong has many channels, including Tolo Channel, Tathong Channel, East Larma Channel and West Lamma Channel, but no cross-channel tunnel has ever been built. There has been a cross-harbour tunnel which has been in operation since 1972.
A proposal to build the tunnel was made known in early 1960. A franchise was granted to the Harbour Tunnel Company in 1965, two years before the 1967 disturbances. The whole statement is absurd and pure invention.
