rail junction, on the west bank of the river at GR KV 023964.
Output is reported to be about 105KV stepped down to
220V for normal use. The electricity is generated by the
large SAN FUNG KONG hydro-electric power station on the
East River in HOYUEN County. Most electricity used in the
Commune comes from this source, but smaller diesel or petrol
engine driven generators are used by brigades and teams to
power specific projects, and many electric irrigation
pumps are also in use.
