irrigation facilities within the
Commune.
(d) Subsidiary Products Department
Responsible for afforestation, fishing,
oyster and fish farming, rearing of
domestic poultry and animals, reclama-
tion work and local industries, such
as brick works, rice mills and sugar
refineries.
(e) Education and Cultural Department
Responsible for Commune and Production
Brigade-level schools, propaganda and
cultural activities.
(f) Planning Department
Responsible for planning future develop-
ments in production of all kinds (but
mainly in agriculture) and for working out
a future financial budget in line with these.
(g) Finance and Adminstration Department
Responsible for accounting and administrat-
ive matters, and also for auditing the
accounts of subordinate Production Brigades.
