1980 Onwards
It is planned that the Forecast Force Levels after 1980 will be maintained except
that the remaining Vulcan force will be replaced by the MRCA.
This table excludes the squadrons/aircraft (including Maritime Patrol Aircraft)
operated by the Royal Air Force for Maritime Operations, as these have been
shown in the tables for the Royal Navy.

Aircraft withdrawn from the NEAF theatre may be re-allocated to NATO.
At present 4 HRR (Canberra) and 5 MPA (Nimrods) are earmarked for assignment to
SACEUR in theatre.
