It is planned that the level of combat capability after 1980 will be maintained.

Honest John to convert to Lance beginning in 1975 and completed by 1978.
Part of the tenk and infantry brigades at serials 1 and 9.
Part of the airportable infantry and infantry (parachute) brigades at serials 14 and 15
plus the Commando Light Regiment. The latter may reduce by one battery in 1977.
Currently equipped with 21 X L 40/70 FCI 7 guns per Regiment.
The concept of the JATFOR as such will no longer be possible, although the manpower will be retained.
Our strategic reinforcement to ACE will be reduced from three to the equivalent of one brigade, and confined to the Cantral and Northern Regions.
We will retain the reinforcement ability to bring BAOR to a full war footing.
