ALLIED COLTAAND EUROPE
The reductions in the light of our Defence Review (and any that may be required later under MBFR), will require us to undertake a major restructuring of the Army as a whole, spanning all levels of command and support. Therefore the figures in the columns below which are shown in present temas, will progressively take on different values in terms of levels of command, numbers and sizes of units. However, we will retain our present level of NATO combat capability expressed in present numbers of tanks, guns, etc, other than where the footnotes show & reduction.
