1. Mr Dan Jones MP (Burnley, Labour) has put down three questions for written answer on 13 January, to ask the Secretary of State:-

(A) To what extent the English language is being taught
in evening classes in Hong Kong; to what extent the students are eventually employed in Hong Kong's commerce and industry and what percentage of the students is Chinese.
(B)
To what extent the Government in Hong Kong is involved in controlling the illicit entry of drugs from Thailand; what measures have been taken by the authorities, and at what cost, to curb the entry of drugs; and what steps are taken by the medical services to control and cure victims.
(C) What steps are being taken by the medical authorities
in Hong Kong on research into the practice of drug taking.
