NOTES - SECTION 1 OFFICER

An officer who wishes to draw allowances in respect of a school in a country other than his country of origin (as declared for the purpose of E.R.R. 1300(d) and 1320) should apply in writing to the Establishment Secretary for approval before completing this Form.

Where an officer has already submitted a Form C.B.A.1 and at a later date he is entitled to clain in respect of an additional child, the names only of the children shown on the previous application Form need be entered under paragraph 2 of the new application Form, subject to there being no change in the circumstances relevant to the previous application.

The total amount of any grant entered in paragraph 3 should be shown in the currency in which it is being paid. A scholarship won by a child on a competitive basis will not be considered as a grant and need not be entered in paragraph 3.
