This is to confirm the telephone arrangement of Wednesday morning that you will call on us here on Wednesday, 14 Angust, at 11.30 a.m. My room is in the Annex to the main building at Bressenden Place, and I enclose a copy of a plan showing its relationship to Mand House itself.

Dr Ivor Griffiths, who has recently taken over responsibility within the group of Education Advisers for Hong Kong and other countries in South East Asia, will join us at our meeting and for lwähafterwards in the adjacent Goring Hotel. I think that Mr Stuart of the Hong Kong and Indian Oosan Department would have liked to be present also but he will be awayon leave at the time. I understand that Sir Charles Hartwell, who is now working in this Ministry, would also like to arrange to have lunch with you one day. (Sir Charles' extension number at the Eland House exchange is 431 and perhaps you would like conveniently to give him a ring.)

I am looking forward to seeing you and hope that these arrangements are convenient.
