WHO'S KILLING THE CHINA ANIMALS?

Shop Atmosphere Shing Lee Hong incl. screaming/squealing of monkeys.

Monkeys, of course are one of the most horrifying things there because the monkeys scream. Most of the other Animis orom almost too apathetic by the time they get to the shops to do anything. But the monkeys are screaming and trying to get out all the time.

Apart from the appalling cruelty of the conditions in which they're handled, and sold here in Hong Kong, I'm appalled at the numbers.

I think that anyone in Britain who saw a basket with 25 kestrels or another basket two or three baskets totalling 30 buzzards, would be absolutely shattered.

Q

It's a distressing fact that they do in their for want of a better word 'propaganda' put forward the idea that China is conserving its wild mammals - pandas and so on; but out of the back door of China, which is Hong Kong, comes a whole range of small mammals and birds which are going to be cooked!

Who's Killing the China Animals? An enquiry into Hong Kong's trade in wildlife from China by Patricia Penn.

Shop Atmosphere, with monkeys screaming re-establish then fade and hold.
