I am writing to ask if your dept. can do anything to stopt the importation of live rare animals and birds from China to "ong Kong.
This problem was highlighted last month in Radio 4 programme 'Who's killing the China Animals' when disclosures of revolting conditions of transport from China and inhumane slaughter were disclosed,
What can your dept do to stop this trade
(which panders to a minority 'gourmet and aphrodisiac market) both on grounds of conservation and cruelty.
