HONG KONG'S INTERESTS IN EEC CAPITALS
1.
Following your letter to me of 31 January, we have spoken on the telephone about a revised draft on this subject which would go to our Embassies in the EC capitals.
2.
I attach a draft which we would like to get off if possible on 13 February. This is a substantial alteration based on
Andrew Stuart's understanding of the points Mary Lackey made to him
on the telephone. We hope, therefore, that it will be acceptable to you.
3. I shall be discussing the draft this end with Roger Hart (EID) and Morris (Personnel Operations Department).
