HONG KONG REPRESENTATION IN EEC CAPITALS

1. I have discussed with EID (Mr Hart) what action might be necessary on this subject.
2. We had previously decided to await Mr Jordan's visit. In the event this subject was not raised.
3.
We have agreed that EID will circulate the gist of my minute of 1 April to our Embassies in the appropriate EEC capitals to keep them in the picture. Mr Hart will send a short covering letter explaining that we are awaiting Hong Kong's considered views.
