only 16 items were of real significance to Hong Kong: they include, travel goods, artificial flowers, wigs, toys, jewellery, precious and semi-precious stones;

(iii) in the remaining 8 items Hong Kong's exporte

to Japan had either been negligible or insignificant; they include articles of

leather, plaiting materials and glass beads.

In other words, only 26 out of the 95 items were of real significance to Hong Kong.

(b) On 1st June 1973, the number of items under the Hong Kong

Exclusion List was reduced to 12. They are:

Stockings

Footwear

Artificial flowers

Wigs

Fans

Glass beads, imitation pearls, etc.

Precious and semi precious stones

Articles of jewellery of precious metal Imitation jewellery

Worked ivory

Toys
