more objective presentation of the case.
9. We shall of course continue to bear Hong Kong's
interests in mind in the GSP studies and we shall do
all we can, both specifically on textiles and footwear,
and generally in the industrial sector to secure for
Hong Kong in 1975 as good a deal as we can. The
Commission's aim is to finalise the arrangements for
next year's GSP by the end of October this year. We
shall try to keep them to this timescale.
