EASTER ADJOURNMENT DEBATE
1.
HONG KONG (ILO CONVENTIONS)
In his minute of 1 April Mr MacDonald asked for a
speaking note, and, where necessary, a short background note
on the application of ILO Conventions to Hong Kong.
the recent PQ by Mr Sillars.
2.
This follows
I accordingly submit a speaking note and a background note
which have been cleared with the Overseas Labour Adviser and
with Gibraltar and General Dept.
3.
Although it has not been asked for, I think it would be
wise to provide the Lord President with a speaking note on the Defence Review. I have suggested that the Parliamentary Unit
should commission accordingly from Defence Dept.
