ANNEX A TO XCC(74)9
Amend the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title and commencement.
1.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Workmen's
Compensation (Amendment) Ordinance 1974 and shall come
into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor
by notice in the Gazette.
Amendment of section 2. (Cap. 282.)
2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is
amended in paragraph (a) of the proviso to subsection
(1) by deleting "one thousand five hundred" and
substituting the following
Amendment of section 6.
"two thousand".
3.
Section 6 of the principal Ordinance is
amended
(a)
in paragraph (a)(ii) by deleting "or" in the
last place where it occurs;
(b)
in paragraph (a)(iii) by inserting after
"1970" the following
"and before the 1st day of July 1974"; and
