THE EMPLOYMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1974

This Ordinance amends the Employment Ordinance so as to raise to $2,000 per month the upper limit of the wages which may be earned by persons employed in non- manual labour before they fall outside the scope of the principal Ordinance. The change has become necessary in consequence of the fall in the value of money.
2. Before His Excellency the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, I advised that he could properly do so.
