requirement that the person to
whom the offer is made shall
undertake
(i)
if he is a member or officer
of such a trade union, that he
will relinguish his membership
thereof or office therein;
(ii) not to become a member of,
or officer in, such a trade
union; or
(iii) not to associate with other
persons for the purpose of
forming or applying for the
registration of a trade union
in accordance with the
provisions of the Trade Unions
Ordinance,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall
be liable on conviction to a fine of
$5,000.".
Explanatory Memorandum
This Bill is designed to give effect to certain
provisions of the International Labour Convention No. 99.

The new section 11K seeks to confer certain
rights on employees, whether or not they are employed
