LABOUR LEGISLATION AND HMG'S ATTITUDE TO IT

The basic paper is the brief for the Overseas Labour Consultative Committee. This shows that there has been substantial development in the field of labour legislation and that this development has speeded up over the last year. The reactions of the TUC will emergo as the result of Lord Goronwy-Roberts's meeting with the Overseas Labour Consultative Committee on 16 December. This brief will be amended as necessary in the light of those discussions.
