2. There are no plans for a visit to Hong Kong by the Prime Minister. A number of high level visits will, however, take place in the early part of next year. The Queen will visit the Colony between 4 7 May. She may be accompanied by the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary. Lord Goronwy- Roberts will visit Hong Kong from 11 - 17 January 1975; his visit will be preceded by one to London by the Governor of Hong Kong for discussions on current questions.

There is a possibility that the Secretary of State might visit China in early 1976; if so, it is likely that he will visit Hong Kong on the same occasion.
