Some time last year I brought/your attention to an office circular about the proper treatment of Government Whips during their visits abroad, in view of their status as junior Ministers.

I hope you will forgive me for reminding you of this guidance which is enshrined in DSP Volume 1 (Extract attached for ease of reference). You are no doubt already aware that the new Government Whips are as follows:-
