References to Hong Kong's Status
With reference to paragraph 4 of D.C.S.'s letter
CR L/M 454/73 of 3 December 1973 I write to report briefly on how participation of Hong Kong is reflected in the reports of ECAFE Meetings of Representatives of Governments and Shippers' Organisations, the Committee on Trade, and the Asian Industrial Development Council, all three of which were held in Bangkok recently.
ひ
A&A..
Under the paragraphs on Attendance the reports do mention that the meetings were attended by "representatives of Hong Kong". Elsewhere in the reports the practice seems to be that no country or territory is named except those who specifically wished to be so mentioned in the reports; formulations such as "Delegations/Representatives of developing/ developed countries" are invariably used to reflect statements made. However papers submitted by individual delegations are very often referred to as "Country Papers".

Finally the report drafting committee is normally referred to as a drafting committee of the whole, of representatives of all member and associate member countries attending.
