NON REGIONAL MEMBERSHIP OF ECAFE
In your minute of 12 February you ask for our comments on the UK's continued membership of ECAFE.

As far as this department is concerned, we believe that we should attempt to remain a non-regional member, rather than let our membership go by default. I agree with your proposal, therefore, that we should make a considered case for being allowed to continue attending meetings of ECAFE until we are forced at some stage to accept a more limited form of membership, or eventually ́. expulsion.
