Receipt of Viswanathan's letter has caused me to look back through my file and see that, in my letter to Dick Stratton of the 7th January I said that I would be submitting a fuller report on the Conference "in the near future". This I have in fact not done, mainly because there was not a great deal to report on. However, you may like to note that, in the course of preparing a bris for the Hong Kong delegation to the ECAFE Plenary Session in Sri Lanka I have included one or two brief impressions and these will be available on Secretariat file ECON 11/ 5681/74 if you would be interested in seeing them; in this brief, I have also drawn, attention to this correspondence between us.
