I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your despatch no CR 7/1136/71 II of 10 July 1974 and to inform you that the power of disallowance will not be exercised in respect of the provisional appointment of Mr H M G Forsgate JP to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council during the absence from the Colony of Mr P G Williams JP. The power of disallowance will also not be exercised in respect of the provisional appointment of Mr A T Armstrong-Wright to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council during the absence
of Mr J J Robson.
