In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause XIV
of the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1972, I appoint -
IAN MACDONALD LIGHTBODY
Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Justice of the Peace to be provisionally an Official
Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1st July 1974.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony en 29th June 1974.
