HONG KONG MASS TRANSIT SYSTEM
In your letter of 3 July to Cotterill you asked for our comments on the proposals set out in Cotterill's letter of 2 July. It seems from that letter that ECGDi revised financial proposals are necessary to keep us in the running for the Mass Transit System contract. On that basis they are strongly supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
