The Minister said that a "Draft Consultative Document" had been drawn up by D.T.I. on a separate Hong Kong Register of Shipping following discussions in London with Director of Marine and Deputy Economic Secretary. The Director of Marine confirmed that the document had been seen briefly by all present at the meeting. The Minister said he would welcome preliminary views before discussing the matter further with his colleagues in the D.T.I.
