HONG KONG REGISTER OF SHIPPING
As promised I enclose a copy of a minute I have today sent to the Minister for Aerospace and Shipping briefing him for the two meetings to be held next week with representatives of both sides of the shipping industry on the above subject. I also enclose for your information a minute prepared by the Minister's Private Secretary concerning his recent talks with the Hong Kong Governor and a group of Hong Kong shipowners on this subject during his recent visit to Hong Kong, and John Archer's subsequent minute dated 9 April commenting on some of the points that emerged from those meetings.
