Thank you for your letter of 26 April, representing the
views of the British Shipping Federation and the Chamber
on a proposed register of shipping for Hong Kong. I
appreciate the full consideration which you have given
to this matter and your detailed comments.
We are now considering them carefully, together with
those of others involved, and I am asking my officials
to discuss some of the points which you made in your
letter.
