"I am delighted with this success. wonder if it might be worthwhile getting
a member of the Royal Family to open the festival next year?

Mr Royle has suggested Prince Charles as possibility. I attach a copy of Mr Crowson's minute of 15 May for information.
4. We should be grateful for your advice on this. Mr Royle wishes to write and congratulate the Governor on the success of the Festival and I should be grateful to know whether you think we should mention the possibility of a member of the Royal Family opening the next festival at this stage?
